The Rooms

You’ve discovered a secret door in your garden, leading to a mysterious room that has been untouched for more than half a century.
Who was the owner?
Why did they leave?
Work together to solve the mystery and escape! Difficulty - 4/5.
Recommended 2-6 people.

Mine Escape

Arriving for your shift, you find the head office deserted - your colleagues have left to investigate some unusual activity in the mine and never returned.
It’s up to you to bring them to safety, but the clock is ticking – can you get them out in time?
Difficulty 4/5. Recommended 2-6 people.

Real-life room escape games are a type of adventure game in which you are "trapped" in a room with your friends, family or work mates. This is real – not a computer game. Use your sense of adventure, imagination, lateral thinking, powers of observation, and teamwork. Crack a series of stimulating, challenging and fun puzzles. Solve the mystery and escape the room within the time limit.
No, you can exit at any time.
The puzzles need no specific mathematical or language skills. They are based on powers of observation, lateral thinking and logic. Anyone can solve them.
A minimum number of 2 people can participate. The maximum capacity of each room is 6 people.
Your progress will be monitored by a facilitator on a webcam. You will have a walkie-talkie to talk to the facilitator and can ask for help at any time.
If you are under 16 years old you must attend with an adult. Although we recommend a 10 year old minimum, anyone can participate. If you are under 18 you will need the written permission of a parent or guardian (the form can be downloaded from the booking section of the website for completion in advance).
We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes before your group's start time to complete the formalities and prepare. If you arrive late, you will have less time to escape from the room.

Parking advice

Free parking is available at the Dunkeld West Centre. During the day you can park at either the front of the rear of the centre. In busy times the parking in the front of the centre does get full but you can always find parking behind the centre. Both parking areas are patrolled by security and monitored by cameras. At night, we recommend you park at the rear parking where the restaurant patrons usually park. The rear parking is better monitored by the security guards at night.

How to find us as the centre

We are located in the office block on the first floor. If you parked in front of the centre, look for Dunkled Fruit and Flowers and follow the ramp down towards the flower shop. Once you pass the flower shop you will see the entrance to the office block in front of you – the guard at the desk will direct you up to the first floor. If you parked in the rear of the centre, look for a walkway with a sign “To Offices and Medical Suites”. Facing the centre, this is to the right of the DW11 restaurant (look for the green awnings). Walk up the passage and the entrance to the office block will be on your right (just as you see the flower shop in front of you).
